As the Senior Design Director, I was responsible for driving the creative process, managing several UX designers, defining look and feel, collaborating on research design and partnering with the client team. This sprint explored new ways to market term life insurance to millennials, integrating with mobile technologies. Shown above are POCs for a gamified application process, breaking conventions and leveraging humor.

American Express – Membership Rewards Portal – Sarankco

As the Senior User Experience Designer, I was responsible for rearchitecting and redesigning Membership Rewards, the primary eCommerce site for American Express. This was a full redesign and and was to be newly responsive. I initiated a new design operations system, defined interaction patterns, created detailed prototypes for user testing and designed the purchase flow. I attended usability sessions and worked with a visual designer to polish and elevate the final design.

Ernst & Young – Global Intranet – frog

Performed extensive participatory design research with stakeholders and end users, defining strategy for the largest SharePoint deployment in history. Designed stimuli, identified user interaction modes and created respondent summaries. Synthesized research data and developed user archetypes to guide the development process. Created process flows to define and validate key tasks and technologies. Developed current and future state site maps, providing a template for use company-wide. Designed wireframes to explore way-finding, functionality and in-line collaboration strategies.

Experis – Precision iOS App – Infusion

While at Infusion, I designed the Precision app for Experis, enabling job candidates to register via a game-like interface. Through a series of interactive screens, candidates answer questions about themselves and their goals. This information is fed into an algorithm which enables precision matching and closed loop CRM for placed clients.

Metlife Intranet Personalization
Infusion – MetLife Intranet Personalization

MetLife – Global Intranet Redesign – Infusion

Re-architected the global intranet, creating a consistent and extensible system, flexible enough to support regional deviations. Site design leveraged the best out of the box features available within Sharepoint, including social feeds, contributer following, liking and rating of content, segmented search, content filtering and customizable home page modules.

Infusion - Samsung Virtual Host
Infusion – Samsung Virtual Host

Samsung – Galaxy S4 Virtual Host Kiosk and Android app – Infusion

Developed interaction scenarios and actor blocking scripts for the “Virtual Host”, a kiosk and android smart phone experience. Users were prompted to pick up a Samsung GS4 buy the vitual host, who then walked them through key features of the phone. The devices were installed as end-cap units at Fry’s Electronics stores nationwide.
